Tap @ Avery. Dark brown appearance with a light brown head. There’s a light smoked pepper element in the nose but it’s not that pronounced. In addition, there’s a mild smokiness (woody), rich caramel malts, and hay/straw in the nose. It has a fairly rich caramel malty, toffee flavor with a moderate amount of campfire smoke and mild to moderate red hot chili peppers (minus the fleas). The name of this one worried me a little bit but the spiciness of the chilies wasn’t that pronounced. It was kind of a weird idea but it turned out not all that badly.
