Sample at the taproom. The beer is a slightly hazy dark orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Rich, slightly hazy copper and golden body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of deep hops, rich malt, apricots and a lot of alcohol. Medium-bodied; Rich malty flavour with a good hop backbone of piney and herbal hops and showing a pleasant sweetness and rich alcohol finish. Aftertaste shows a lot of hop flavours of herbs and grapefruit - very nice. Overall, a nice Imperial IPA with a great balance of malt and hops and a smooth finish. I sampled this pint on draught (and also on nitrogen) for US$5.00 on 08-June-2014 at the brewpub here in Lone Tree, Colorado.

Tap @ brewery. Clear, orange appearance with a white head. Sticky, piney, grapefruity hoppy aroma. Carbonation seems a little low. Resiny, sticky liberty, grapefruity hoppy, somewhat sweet pale malty flavor with a sticky, bitter finish. Pretty solid.

Tap at the brewery, listed as 8% abv - clear copper pour - slick texture, with moderate to high sweetness, tempered by quite an aggressive hop profile - hops are chewy and resinous - notes of grapefruit, pine, grass, pepper - malt is sweet but fairly clean, letting the ho do their thing - finish is dank and spicy - fairly well-executed, and props from making an IIPA that isn’t an 11% beast.
