With a mix of roasted and raw sweet potatoes in the mash and the boil, Comfortable Deception has earthy notes, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla to drive home the illusion that this liquid is actually a solid side dish. Crystal malt and the addition of lactose contribute to gently sweet caramel notes that balance the dark chocolate and roasted flavours.

473ml can. Pours a clear light brown with red hue and a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet, spicy aroma of caramel malt, cinnamon, nutmeg, roasted sweet potato, earth and light vanilla. Sweet, spicy flavour of caramel malt, nutmeg, cinnamon, earth, roasted sweet potato and light coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Flavourful, similar to a pumpkin beer.

light brown color.
Light brown head. Tastes like sweet potato pie with some chocolate and cinnamon notes. Malt forward. Really nice. Light body

Dark brown. Pretty big head. Lots of roasted sweet potato in there…big sugars, some toast, a but of roast. I have to ask, though, what's the point of raw sweet potatoes? Sugar? Gimme the roasted stuff.
