Dark brown No head. Oh wow, the cinnamon and apple brandy is all over the aroma. On the palate, it's got a soft dark malt base, with light apple brandy, again lots of cinnamon. Has some of this faded? It seems almost balanced. A good sweet sugar note here. Good richness here, solid barrels and adjuncts, it's got a fair bit of complexity.

Draft at Fonta Flora Morganton. Pours a pitch black with a finger of tan head and dissipates quickly. Aromas of apple brandy, dark chocolate, treacle and cinnamon. Palate shows more chocolate and apple as it warms up. Cinnamon lingers with honey, brandy, vanilla and bourbon on the finish. Decadent.
