Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a teku glass. Strong medicinal nose. Clear amberbrown, small stable frothy off-white head, minimal lacing. Medicinal aroma, roasted malts, costmary, chamomile, liquorice, anise, light mint. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, herbs (as in the aroma), light caramel, liquorice. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, herbal sweetbitter aftertaste, malty backbone, alcohol notes. Initially overwhelmingly medicinal, it takes quite some time to 'thaw', beer that you have to let sit for a while before it stabilizes and unfolds completely itself, very nice.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, redd-ish, dark brown colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Herbal and slightly dark malty aroma, notes of costmary, camphor, whiffs of liquorice and mint. Taste is herbal and sweet-ish, dark malty, notes of costmary, camphor, a touch of liquorice and mint. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, somehow minimally dry and chilled palate, fine, mildly brickly carbonation. Not much Porter character, herb-dominated, refreshing due to the mint portion in the flavour profile - nice.
