Bottle at my parents’, which I think they got at Lidl. Floral aroma. Medium gold. Bubbly. Decent bright white and creamy head. Bitter, with an underlying sweetness, especially in the finish. Light bodied. The carbonation has some impact to it. Long finish. Nice enough but nothing to write home about.

Bottle from Aldi. Dark gold with a slightly odd orange hue. Malty and grainy with a slight fruity hint (tangerine?) in the nose. Decent sweet taste with only slight hop bitterness at the end of the sip. Not so sure about the aftertaste, which along with a welcome floral note has a corny astringency like many poor lagers. This isn’t a bad beer, and I like it a bit more as it goes on,but it’s highly unlikely to become one of my favourites.

Bottle. Golden-amber color. Aroma: diacetyl, a little jam, caramel and a hint of hops. Taste: fruity, yellow plum, malt and water, not impressed.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Sweetish pale malts, a bit of a tang. Reasonable orange citrus, mild spice. Light dry finish. Not bad.
