A light and refreshing pale golden beer with hints of banana and pineapple. Crafted with a fine blend of the best English malted barley and mainly fresh local Fuggles hops from Puttenham but with some aroma hops at the end of the boil. A good balanced beer with a long dry finish and a sense of sweetness.

Bottle at my parents’, which I think they got at Lidl. Floral aroma. Medium gold. Bubbly. Decent bright white and creamy head. Bitter, with an underlying sweetness, especially in the finish. Light bodied. The carbonation has some impact to it. Long finish. Nice enough but nothing to write home about.

Bottle from Aldi. Dark gold with a slightly odd orange hue. Malty and grainy with a slight fruity hint (tangerine?) in the nose. Decent sweet taste with only slight hop bitterness at the end of the sip. Not so sure about the aftertaste, which along with a welcome floral note has a corny astringency like many poor lagers. This isn’t a bad beer, and I like it a bit more as it goes on,but it’s highly unlikely to become one of my favourites.
