Clear deep golden colour, one finger frothy slightly off-white head, stays a short while before dissipating to a thin layer and good lacing. Aroma is malty, grainy, grass, bit of caramel, touch of citrus. Flavour medium sweetbitter, bit of caramel; medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finish dry light bitter, a smooth and refreshing bitter.

Cask at the 2014 GBBF. Clear golden coloured pour aroma is homey earthy sweet, tea. Flavour is mineral honey and hedgerow hop. Utterly boring.

Bottle from Waitrose. Label states 4.4%. Sweet malt, some fruit. Slightly fusty. Not my favourite style of beer, really.
