Bottle. Deep golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white longlasting head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, some bready and mild floral and some wooden tones to it. Flavour is caramel, some ripe fruits, wood, mild herbal and some bready tones as well. Mild biscuity tones in the finish.

Bottle from Redh. Appearance - deep amber with a white head. Nose - metallic, caramel and brown bread. Taste - toffee, caramel and ginger cake. Palate - medium.bodied and generally too sweet. Overall - tastes better than it smells but still a bit too sweet.

Bottled 500ml (KSM Toppila, BB 10/2021)
Dark golden colour, small steady white head and lace. A bit bready, caramalty aroma, doesn't feel so fresh. Caramalt, even toffee, some riped fruits. Sweetish and boring bitter at least in its bottled version.

Very little foam sits on top of a boring gold body. Aroma is somewhere between a bad lager and laundry detergent. Flavour is muddy grains, some hops, fermented bread. Wet finish. Serviceable I suppose but not inspiring.

4/4/2018. Bottle from The Vineyard, Dorking. Pours golden with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of hop, grass, straw and light citrus. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Maureen & Dave - cheers! Amber with a white head and an obvious fizz. Cardboard, a biscuit dryness, a light floral note and a little caramel. Very much your average supermarket bitter.

A light colour in the tankard and sweet on the palate. Nice lacing and lots of fruity hops and no discernable bitterness. It was a bit too sweet for my liking and not a beer I particularly enjoyed.
