Single from Blue Door in Hendo. This is a yearly brew but until now, I could never seem to get a reservation at Cúrate or a single out of a pack. Stemless wine glass @home. Cloudy pale straw gold pour. Serious chunks on second half of the bottle. Smell is sharp with white grapes, melon, lavender, bubblegum, yeasties. Vinegary melange of apples, sour cherries, apricot, green peach. It's all of the fruit without the funk of Sidra. Acid is huge, very sour, leaving little room for barnyard. Finish is yeasty, drying & still lingering with vinegar. A true sour cider. Less vinegar would win me over. Crispy, wincing sourness, yeasty, okay ABV that's probably slightly higher than listed. Surprisingly drinkable as long as the food keeps coming. At least some cheese. Don't drink on an empty stomach.
