Following on from Ten Dollar Shake and Comfortable Silence; I Love You Honey Bunny is a smoothie with a plot twist. We had some assistance from Brooklyn’s Other Half this time out, and instead of fruit additions, included some 200kg of pure blossom honey! We’ve also stepped up to 50% oats in the grist, making the body even thicker and smoother than its predecessors. Launching at Leeds International Beer Fest and Beavertown Extravaganza, available in bottles the following week!

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, soft, sweet, floral, honey cake, tangy lemon peel, grapefruit, bread, cake and stone fruit. The taste is bitter - sweet, bready, cake, honey, floral, straw, pithy, zesty lemon, lemon balm, grapefruit, straw, grass, alcohol and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Decent enough honey beer, but I had hoped for more, given who Siren were collaborating with.

Bottle picked up from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry consumed at Mini Camping Groen Donk, Nr Den Bosch, Netherlands, Monday 25th September 2017 on the day that I got repeatedly stung by a wasp grrrr.... Murky, grubby yellow the head if there was one was swiftly off. Considering the copious amount of honey in here I am getting very little in the mouth, the oats and hops however are a different matter. I am really tired of this style of IPA and even hunny bunny couldn't save it. This was a bit too cold once it warmed up the honey showed a little more than previously, notching it up a mark or two. *note too self turn down the fridge temperature. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2
