Following on from Ten Dollar Shake and Comfortable Silence; I Love You Honey Bunny is a smoothie with a plot twist. We had some assistance from Brooklyn’s Other Half this time out, and instead of fruit additions, included some 200kg of pure blossom honey! We’ve also stepped up to 50% oats in the grist, making the body even thicker and smoother than its predecessors. Launching at Leeds International Beer Fest and Beavertown Extravaganza, available in bottles the following week!

Bottle. Don’t recall where from. Milky gold. Film of white. Nose has oaty grain. Bit of fusty peach. Some citrus. Taste has some oaty sweetness, with a not particularly well balanced, citrusy bitterness. Medium body. Sits a little gluey. More of the jarring, sweet and bitter to finish. Definitely more Siren than Other Half.

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Fades fast. Smell is creamy, mild fruityness. Dense. Medium intensity. Taste is full , lactic, creamy, no real honey flavor, but a very well balanced, creamy , lactic , almost NE style IPA. Nice !

Thin beige head immediately left a collar & cover on a hazy, still, lemon coloured body. Lemon, honey & Beeswax aroma - honestly, I can smell Beeswax! Medium to thin body. Slightly lacking on the palate but a tingly finish. Bitter, sour lemon tastes with citrus..... & not much else. I can't really pick out the honey (or Beeswax!) in the taste at all.

330ml bottle. Pours a cloudy bright pale lemony yellow colour, small white head. Honey and hops on the nose, fruity/citrus. Taste is honey, fruity hops, citrus, lemon, a sweetish beer but has a lingering bitter citric finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Not bad, preferred the first two in the series, expected more from this one given the people behind it.
