Bottle from their spring cider club. Duvel glass @home. Loud pop on a slightly leaky cork. Significant fizz in the neck, but not a bottle bomb. Clear, amber gold. Quick hitting head & added activity courtesy of the Duvel & unintended secondary fermentation! Nose is a little muted, maybe it's just too cold. Minerally, river rock, light licorice, steel, seltzer, aresol. Warmth brings out a wet wool, barn-y addition. Sweet-tart, turning bitter-sharp. Sour peach, plum, becoming more like Sweet Tarts & mild ginger ale. I agree with the black tea tannic description, it fades back into minerally sparkling wine. Bubbly, strong, more lappy & not really thin. Semi-sweet, tannic, tart, sharp. Big cider, full meal. Good.
