Bottle from Tasty Beverage in Asheville. Duvel glass. Tried letting it settle for a few months in the fridge, but it still poured out a classy hazy honey gold with a faint ring of white. Smells of major creamsicle, yeasties & definite macerated strawberries, with a little tartness. Taste is white wine & green strawberries. Tart peach pith & a little macerated strawberry sweetness. Bitter, somewhat Tannic apples. Leftover yeasties on the finish. Thin & intentionally flat, wife thinks it would be way better sparkling & I think I agree. Still good to have a rare well done strawberry bottle of anything.

On tap at Appalachian Vintner, pours a clear blonde with a tiny head. Aroma brings out light farmhouse funk, crisp apple skins and a touch of strawberry. Flavour is nice and funky, with funky strawberries, crisp apple skins, and a really nice dry wild yeast character to finish it off. The booze is well-hidden. Excellent.
