Clear 375ml bottle from Tasty Beverage in Asheville. Duvel tulip. Deep, vibrant, clear gold, still pour. Baby got legs. Smells of softly macerated apple & apricot, alongside very quiet alcohol. Maybe a little Chardonnay butter. Viscous, but surprisingly mellow in alcohol. Quiet, macerated, dark, aged, but not quite all oxidized apple flesh flavor. Tiny bit of lemon acidity. Bourbon comes through as it warms, but isn't intense. Very smooth & the lemon was a smart addition. This is entering apertif territory.
