Less is More

Keg at the brewery, 4/26/23. New cidery! Hazy pale orange, thin head. Aroma of sweet apple, earth, honey, mild citrus. Taste is apple, pear, earth, hint of citrus. Well balanced, dry. Nice.

Bottle from Tasty Beverage in Asheville. Bottle cap just sort of fell off as the opener was trying to get a grip on it... Cloudy, yellow brew in my Duvel glass. Looks still to me. Smell is soft on apples, big on creamy yeast. Tart & satisfyingly bitter upfront. Slightly sour, turning juicy with a very obvious pineapple note. Minor barnyard & acetone. Tight, very acidic apples. Apricot. Pear. Leather. Bitter, runny finish. Gets tastier as it warms, but unfortunately the texture doesn’t, so drink up. Love discovering little inspired labels. A treat.
