Bottle from New Beer Distributors in 2015/16. Poured into a Ommegang tulip glass. Still. 14k gold body, clear except for the tiny floaties all about. Smells of apple mulch, wet limestone, brown fall leaves & gum. Apricots, wood. Rose, wax, bitter greens. Lemon. Moderately acidic, core-ish apple flavor. Lightly tannic, faintly tart & lingering. Zippy residual left on my lips long after. Super thin. This could be a cider for all I know, if just a bit less full. Refreshing & super clean, but a bit void of satisfaction. I seem to enjoy my perries more on the sweet & or scrumpy side.
