Pear nose, moderate strength. Clear pale yellow, some visible carbonation. Light body, easy carbonation. Pear with a perfumey finish. Old bottle, so much of the complexity it may have once had has been absorbed into the dominant pear flavor. Still good even with some age.

Bomber poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of pear, earthy honey. Taste is light tart. Follows aroma - pear, honey and baybe some light citrus. Light bodied with a thin yet slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long tart finish. Not bad. Not exactly what I was expecting but enjoyable. I get something spicy in the finish that I can’t quite place. Coriander is in there but there is some other odd spice also.

Bomber from New Beer. Fluted tulip.
Thought I was being gentle pouring it out, but it still came out hazy. Yellow gold body, with a near overpour of fizzy soda head.
Smell is of a tall, refreshing American wheat, garnished with a big, fat orange wedge. Phenols?
Taste is full of juicy pear, orange juice, apples, & table grapes. Comes off a lot like a low alcohol white sangria. Not seriously sweet, but very bright, & pears can’t really half ass it. Just barely a peak of banana at the tail end. Keeping this cider chilled is key.
Carbonation is low, but it still keeps the yeast kept in check. Juicy body. Constant, perfect level of acid. Little blips of tartness. Quiet alcohol.
Having had a few witbier ciders, this one surprised me with how well it kept the yeast from pumping out excessive clove/banana/plastic/rubber like I’ve had in other examples. Can’t say much for the base perry(which is probably junk), but everything put together was yummy. I really enjoyed it.

Bomber from Vintage Cellar. Pours a hazy yellow color with an instantly dissipating fizzy head. Aroma of honey, pears, earth, citrus. The taste is tart pears, vanilla, honey, mild spice and a citrus bite in the finish. Medium bodied, solid perry.

Bomber from Nugget Market in Vacaville, CA. Pours the very light hazy gold of a typical wit. Quite temporary white head. Aroma is citrus zest and coriander. Not getting pear. Near med body. Flavor definitely has pear, but there’s also the zest and coriander. If you like wit bier you might like this. If you need to avoid gluten, this is likely to be better than most non-grain beers. The pear seems to render the finish not quite dry, but it’s a close call.
