On tap @ the Times Center. Pale bright gold body. Super clarity. Smell is Pithy. Fruit pits, mellow rind, & dusty, chalky apples. Taste is sharp apple wine, chalk, & dried out peel. A bit more carbonated then I think it should be. Mushy flesh, lemon/orange, & the subliminal whiskey note their rep kept pushing on me. Faintly tart, moderately acidic. Touch of rind. Watery/hollow. Bitter, leafy finish. I’m a fan of the Dooryard stuff, but despite the fluffed up description, I thought this one was really lacking.
