Draught at the brewery, 7.1%. Pretty close to black. Sugary, sweetish and a little bit fudgey aroma - quite foreign. On the palate, however, it is not so much a foreign stout. It is thick and sweet, slightly fudgey...and not very nuanced. It’s ok.

650 mL bottle. Pours a very dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a strong roasted chocolate and coffee. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste is a very dry roasted coffee and a quick bitter finish. Easy to drink a good sweet stout from Steamworks.

Courtesy of l4lb. Pours dark stout like with small mocha head. The aroma is initially sweet but then fades into dark roastiness and burnt malts. The taste is a bit thin with some malt roastiness, some burnt malts, vanilla, malt balls and more mildly roasted malts into the finish. It leaves a roasty malt to mild burnt malt flavor into the after taste accompanied by a little bit of caramel sweetness.
