Growler thanks to Mora2000. Pours with a ever so slightly hazed orange (deeper) body with a large, slightly off-white head that lasts and leaves good lace. Aromas of pine, tea, herbs, very light citrus, a hint of tobacco, some caramel and bready malts. Light alcohol. Flavors are a bit flabby, some caramel, a decent bitter bite. Pine, floral, lightly herbal hops. A bit of a high cohumulone hop attack on the back of the throat (chinook perhaps?). Bitter balance with a lingering bitter finish. Medium to low bubbles, creamy. Medium to slightly fuller bodied. Bitter throughout. A bit of water salts left on the back of the tongue. Overall good, but not the hop profile I love, and a little too sweet.

On tap at Texas Beerfest. Pours a cloudy amber with a small frothy off white that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is floral hops and citrus. Hides the alcohol very well wit a grapefruit and sweet bitter finish. Very impressed with this IIPA from Thirsty Planet.
