Bottle. Thought I had rated before but guess I forgot to put it down. It was like a apple from a farm and not a grocery store. Loved the aroma. It was cloudy and gold in color.

Pours a solid golden color that is just a shade darker than cider with a thinnish bone white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of apples and wheat and maybe a hint of sweet malt in there as well. Taste is sweet malt and apple up front with a bit of spicy wheat coming through mid way. A fairly dry almost cider like finish with a lingering spicy wheat flavor on my tongue. Light to medium light body, medium level of carbonation. A previous review said this reminded him of green apple jolly rancher, I couldn’t agree more, the flavor is spot on. Not a bad experiment from magic hat, and no beets were harmed in the making of this brew :)

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was sour and tangy with a faint apple presence and a bit of skunk. The flavor was nutty and dry with faint apple. The flavor quickly falls off a cliff to water. Very short finish. Thin body. Not much going on. Disappointing.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is clove and banana. Thin mouthfeel and a bit watery. Citrus and a lingering clove in the finish. Easy to drink, a decent fruit beer from Magic Hat.

12oz bottle. Slightly hazy orange-yellow, with a thin soapy head. Clean and easy drinking, this isn’t as bad as some of the rates would suggest. Light to medium bodied, some soft vanilla doughiness and a slightly artificial green apple taste. The apple shows more in the aroma than the actual flavor of the beer, where is it subdued enough to allow some of the wheaty vanilla tastes come through. I’d probably be more impressed if I thought the apple flavor wasn’t just extract.

12 ounce bottle from the fall sampler. Pours a pale clear yellow color with a medium white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Tart green apple dominates the aroma, covering a weird and offensive cheesy, rotten aroma. What the hell? The taste is green apple, pale bready notes spice and a bit of that cheese. Better than the aroma, but still unpleasant. This concept could have been so much better executed. This is sad. Pretty much a drain pour and I have two more bottles. Neat.
