Flaska från SB. Kopparfärgad vätska med tvärhögt skum. Massiva dofter slår emot näsan. Citrus, fänkål och något lite härsket, typ gammalt smör. Mjuk och len med en fyllig och eldig munkänsla. Alkoholen på 12% kan finnas i eftersmaken. Når inte riktigt fram till höjdarna inom stiltypen. Hade det inte varit för den härskna tonen hade den landat på fyra, eller högre.

Caramelly sweet and complex, lots of toffee, rye bread,, wood barrels, and whiskey. Muddy brown color with small airy beige head. Sipper for sure, tasty, and relaxing

Draft pour at the Burgundian. Pours a dark red color with a fading oily head. Aroma is sweet whiskey, and a tiny bit floral. It’s amazing how much flavor is going on here. Flavor is based on an overly smooth rye whiskey. The barrel flavor comes out extremely well. Heavy carb throughout, though it couldn’t be much smoother. Very dry finish, with a lingering smooth whiskey palate. Really fun beer. Awesome stuff.

Bottle. Pours light hazy dark maroon, with a big off white head. Aroma is sweet hoppy, with orange peel and apricots, as well as malts with cocoa, prunes, dried fruits and tobacco. Full, creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is hoppy orange peel, as well as sweet malts with muscovado, vanilla and oak barrels.

Bottle. Pours clear amber, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is vanilla and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, vanilla and dark sugars, oak tannins, whiskey. Kind of hot, a bit simplistic. Medium body, some acidity.

BB 11-2015.Particle filled copper oxide color, small fizzy yellow head. Oak, some vanilla, alcohol, some red currants scent. Alcohol, red currants, sweet taste. Alcohol, sweet aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Numbing alcohol.

Bottle courtesy of Yoachim. Slow gusher! Pours amber with a frothy goldenish beige head that leaves some thick trace on the glass while dissiapting. Lots of particles floating around in the glass too which was true for the entire bottle, not just the last pours. Smell is sweet and malty with sweet dark bread, caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, alcohol, black pepper corns and hints of toffee. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter and malty with sweet dark bread, caramel, charred wood, moist grass, rye whiskey, moist soil, toffee, alcohol, hazelnuts and hints of banana esters. Mouthfeel is round, boozy, slightly astringent and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter, malty and estery with sweet dark bread, caramel, baked pears, charred wood, hazelnuts, toffee, alcohol and hints of banana bread. Enjoyable but hot and didn’t quite live up to my expectations.

Clear amber color and a small tan head. Lots of floaties. Toffee, vanilla, caramel and spicy. Lovely aroma. Medium + body. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mild acidic and a bit rich carbonation. Oak, vanilla, toffee and a fine spicy touch in the flavor. Warming alcohol. Lovely evening sipper!
