Growler thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazy golden body and a minimal white head. Aroma of grain, caramel, gourd, toffee, candi sugar and light spice. A small hint of corn. Taste is big and boozy, candi sugar, caramel and belgian esters. Vanilla, tortilla (corn again...not sure where from) and light banana esters. Syrupy yet decent attenuation. Good, beer. Heat is there, but well hidden for its capaciousness (not entirely sure that that adjective has been used to describe a beer quality, but it seems apt).

On tap at RealTail Festival at Freetail. Pours a clear copper gold with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a sweet malt with honey. Medium mouthfeel with a fruity malt and nice sweet finish. A good belgian strong ale from Freetail.
