Deep dark amber coloured body with a thick, 3 centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pungent resinous and piney hops with a good deal of malt as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty and hop flavours at first with a big resinous and hoppy finish with a noticeable alcohol bite and a pungent earthy, nutty and caramel finish. Overall, a nice and strong beer - full-bodied with a big flavour profile and a nice rich flavour that lasts! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from The Charleston Beer Exchange in Charleston, South Carolina on 30-April-2015 for US$2,37 sampled on the train from Washington to New York on 18-June-2015. 12oz Can, 30-April-2015, $2.37, Charleston, SC 8,4,8,3,15

Pours a slightly cloudy amber color with a thick and foamy off-white head that diminishes gradually. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and caramel malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, toasted malt and grapefruit. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tap at Hay Merhcant, Houston, 21/05/13. Reddish amber with a good sized frothy off white head. Nose carries a good pine bite, hops, bitter grapefruit, caramel malt, tropical fruits. Taste comprises bitter hops, pine, orange pith, bitter grapefruit, caramel malt, light booze. Full end of medium bodied with fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. Good stuff.

On tap at Petrol Station. Pours a cloudy amber with small frothy white head. The aroma is faint floral and pine. Thick mouthfeel with sweet hop and nice lingering dry bitterness. Good.
