12 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a clear light gold color with a white head and decent retention. Very little lacing. Bready malt aroma. Very bready taste to match the nose. Semi-crisp mouthfeel. Light body. Clean. Not bitter. Boring, but a good example of the style.

Batch, Austin can: pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is very faint, mostly bready with hints of hops. Bitter for a helles. Standard pale lager. Not quite a pils but not a helles. Fairly unremarkable.

On tap at brewpub. Pours a clear orange gold with a small off white head. The aroma is wheat and hay. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet wheat and honey flavor with a sweet finish. Easy to drink a very good Helles from Freetail.

Growler thanks to travita. Pours with a fading white head over a hazed golden body. Aroma is fruity, grassy and grainy, with a hint of styrofoam. Taste is grainy, citrus, and fruity. Lively bubbles. Really easy to drink!
