Pour is a dark brown with a average tan head. Aroma isa ok roasted malt with some chocolaty sweetness. Flavor has no real oatmeal roastyness. It more sweet cocoa with some nuttyness. Thin mouthfeel for a porter. It’s ok nothing too great or too poor.

Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark brown with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma is rather light coffee and chocolate. Med body. Flavor is smooth dark malt with chocolate and just a little coffee. Seems a bit lactic. Finishes dry.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy amber with a small creamy beige head. The aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with a rich chocolate malt with roast and light bitter finish. Easy to drink, a very good porter from Widmer Brothers.

Dark brown with thin white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma is oat and roast malt. Light bodied, less than you’d expect. Malty flavour, but not altogether like a porter. Light finish. Perhaps this was too cold. I understand that the brothers intend to bottle this.
