Cloudy dark yellow with a white head. Very little aroma. I can conjure up some spicy hops and light malt. The flavor is light and clean with just a bit of tang from the rye. Great hot weather cooler. Thanks crajun for the trade!

Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates slowly and laces. Aroma has a crisp lager yeast with supporting rye and a nice grass backing. Flavor starts with rye and grass and has a nice crispness in the finish.

12 ounce can. Pours a bright amber color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of honey and rye. Very light, clean and easygoing: rye spice, some light honey, earthy malt, light bitter hops meld with the rye. Good.

12 oz bottle purchased at the Specs on the North side of Dallas, Texas. The pour is a slightly hazed golden orange with a smallish white head. Pretty beer. The aroma is soft floral spiced rye, paired with a crisp toasted grain malt. Delicate and nuanced nose. The taste is the rye up front, spiced and floral, then moves to the toasted grain of the malt. Clean and crisp, rye is more present in the flavor than the nose. The palate is light to medium bodied, a nice unfiltered mouth feel, active cleansing carbonation, and the rye spice finish. Nice one, really impressed with both Deep Ellum beers I have had.

On tap at Hay Merchant. Pours a cloudy orange gold with a medium frothy off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is wheat and rye. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter malt and rye flavor. Easy to drink a good Pilsener from Deep Ellum.

On tap at a bunch of different places. Many ounces consumed. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a lasting white head. Aromas are spicy, herbal, nice noble hop character (seems kind of like tettanger if I had to guess). Nice bready malt profile. Very clean yeast wise. Flavors are herbal, spicy hops, bready and full malt profile with a bitter and dry finish. Very clean and crisp. Dry and clean with medium carbonation and a somewhat thin body. Lasting bitterness.
