Bottle: Poured a bright pink color liquid with a huge bubbly head with very little retention. Aroma is totally dominated by the cherry syrup and nothing else can be distinguished. Taste is also dominated by the cherry syrup that I didn’t particularly enjoyed since it was way too sweet for my liking. I wasn’t expecting something earth shattering but I wasn’t expecting something similar to this.

Bottled. Deep clear red. Balsamic cherry aroma. Sticky sweet, but at least with a minimal hint of balancing acidity. One dimensional.

Preposterously huge, cyclamen head; very irregular big/tiny bubbles, very lacey; brown-red beer. Disgustingly, nauseatic sweets - cherry drops nose; cherry essence. Overwhelmingly sweet, cherry-drop flavour, but background of wood and even a bit Maillard, reminiscence of the breweries' name & fame. There is a certain tartness, evern glimpse of sour, bit it is Zulte-like (injection of lactic acid). Well-bodied for such a light beer. So, Liefmans/RIVA have jumped on the bandwagon of Fruitella beers. Bwaah. And this isn't even the worst.

Clear pink color, with a medium pink head. Smells like cherry, cherry, oh and cherry. Sweet and slightly sour flavor of cherry. Sticky palate. When i ordered this at the Beerpassion Festival in Antwerp, the brewer said to me: "Quite nice beer for your girlfriend". And so it is...
