Hazy amber brown. Aroma is citrus some toast light sweet fruit. Taste is light sour lemon with medium nuts and bitter hops with notes of cardboard. Not so balanced. Meh.

Bottle at the Reichshof Hotel Hamburg. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of orange and toffee. Taste is marmalade, caramel, dried herbs. Light sweet finish.

0.33 l bottle from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr), best before January 2024. Almost clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral aroma of orange jam, grains and light mango. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral and minimally resiny taste of grains, straw, some orange jam and light mango, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Mediocre Pale Ale, not that hoppy, hardly aromatic.

Bottle that I picked up from REWE, Mainburg and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Saturday 9th November 2019 whilst Loz is cooking a 'Civet of Venison with Ceps', we're listening to Moon Duo - Occult Architecture Vol 1. Pours deep gold, only a tiny bit of haze stops this from being perfectly clear, a white head sits atop. Good bitterness throughout, soft in the mouth, a little lager like, flint and minerally. Dry lager finish. Good.
