12 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a dark orange-amber color with a large khaki head and great retention. Decent lacing. Dark malt and molasses/brown sugar aroma. Dark, almost burned nuts flavor with a dark, dry, long finish. The 6.5% ABV and 33 IBU are more evident in the finish. Faint caramel flavor. Semi-crisp mouthfeel. Medium+ body. Good example of the style, but I'd like it a tad sweeter.

On tap at Freetail. Pours a cloudy copper brown with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is bready malt, roast, caramel. Medium mouthfeel with rich malt, light roast, chocolate with light dry finish.
