Bottle. Not clearly marked, but the ABV is the same as this version. Listed just as delusion ba imperial cream stout. Pours a pitch black hue with a small to almost no head. A sweet whiskey and roast nose. Nutty, big sweet whiskey, oak, some vanilla, light round malts. Very nice. Big coffee. Milky.

Refrigerated 12 oz. bottle from clownoisseur, poured into a snifter. Black with small light brown head. Aroma is dark malt and some whiskey, medium/thick body, creamy texture, medium carbonation, and little small-bubble lacing. Taste is dark malt, roasty, whiskey, and alcohol. Pretty significant alcohol in this one.

Ah, Gretchen, thank you, sweetie.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark brown color really super close to black color. There was a light lacing going around the glass.
The smell had a really nice.sweet to roasty somewhat oaky and almost a light vanilla trying to come across in a really sort of way.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this sat about a medium with a fairly good sessionability about it. The carbonation was there but wasn’t anything overbearing.
Overall, not a bad Imperial Stout, might have again.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a dark brown with beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is booze, vanilla, and oak. Slick mouthfeel with sweet roast, bourbon, and light rye. Decent.

Bottle shared by Sean, thanks! Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a strong note of buttered popcorn and a bit of butterscotch. Flavor has strong roasted malts and butter with some butterscotch and caramel.

Draft at the 2012 Michigan Brewer’s Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Very strong barrel flavors; the base milk stout is subdued and thin and does not tame the alcohol, oak, or whiskey. I didn’t care for this one.
