Can, from Malt & Mold. Pours dark brown with reddish tint against the light, creamy beige head, chocolate aroma, mildly bitter roasted malt-coffee taste, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Good stout, dryish.

Draft at Craft Brewed for CBC. Pours an unclear deep brown with a finger of beige head that lingers. Big coffee forward nose with some light brown sugar and dark chocolate aromas. Smooth and creamy on the palate with a medium body. Coffee is on the palate as well, but more on the nose. Lots of chocolate on the finish..sweet but not overly so.

Pint can, courtesy of homer135, pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a full wispy tan head. The aroma offers up inviting chocolate, earthy roasty coffee, dark roasted malts and some thin molasses sweetness. The taste delivers dark roasted to slightly burnt malts, a hit of molasses sweetness, some earthy roasty coffee and then some chocolate. Solid roasty stout with plenty going on.

Can into a snifter showing amber-brown to brown with translucent rims and lightly tanned foam lacing. The nose shows pronounced notes of roasted coffee bean with hints of steel tank. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Light flavors of roasted coffee that is brightened with light lactose and mild coffee bitterness. Flavors are very thin.
