Modeste 2015. Off-menu bottles brought by Pol. Pours unclear, peachy brown. Small white head. Smell is floral, a bit sweet. Easy drinkable, nice bitter finish. Bit sweet, very balanced. Lovely.

Small, lightly pinkish head, fast gone over hazed, well-carbonated light orange-pink beer with a faint ochre sheen. End of bottle solid yeast. Very dry-fruity, even faintly spicy nose. Dry leaves, dried flowers, including very possibly roses. After some time, smell of mint. Dry-spicy flavour. Very faint fruit and lots of - slightly musty - grain. Bit herbal, not vinous as the Capt. Lawrence. Light body, refreshing, feels very spritzy. Despite its light body and light sourishness, not one to keep drinking. Missing a bit of the fruitiness and of course the vinous character from the Bretts as displayed in the Capt. Lawrence.
