Crisp, clear golden and lightly orange coloured body with a very thin off-white head, only a centimetre tall. Aroma of light funk, metal, sour grapes and a touch of very subdued peach and apricot fruitiness. Ultra-Light-Bodied; Strong funky and twangy yeast and sour flavours at first that show some fruit and go very light with malt and a hint of fruits noticeable, but nothing in terms of pungency or body, this is mild for sure. Aftertaste shows some light sour flavours, a hint of funk from the yeast and a light feeler of fruits and sugars, but not much at all. Overall, a super mild and unassuming beer, even for Berliner standards. This doesn’t show much, but what it does show isn’t bad, it’s just super mild throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from GAT Beer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 02-July-2016 for US$2,75 sampled at home in Washington just over a year later on 09-July-2017.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with no head. The aroma is strong berry, wheat, dough. Thin mouth, tart berry, wheat, light finish, crushable, very good.
