Hiver Joie is reflective of all that we owe to the Old World Belgian beer styles. This barrel-aged dark sour ale was brewed with dried orange peel and coriander and aged with our mixed house culture. This winter beer speaks to the beauty and necessity of remembering to look behind while always moving ahead.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish black, small brown head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is tannic, nail polish remover, citrus, caramel. Flavor is medium tart, sharp, tannic, acetic, cherries. Medium body, high carbonation.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is funk, dark fruit, wood. Thin mouth, tobacco, dark fruit, oak, light tartness, decent.
