I will try just about any Belgian ale, domestic or imported. This evening I get to sample a tripel from a new-to-me TX brewery. I purchased a 12 oz can at the neighborhood HEB just the other day, tripels do not have a long shelf life with me, even ones canned on 12/6/22. My Cowtown snifter gets the duty this evening, time to make a pour. A medium gold body greets me with a moderate head of finely bubbled, arctic white foam. I can appreciate the nose, it is in line with the style, yeast, ripe yellow fruit, grain and field. The taste is nicely decent with a bit of spin on it. Apricots, a dose of hops bitterness, white bread, a bit of toffee sweetness, malt and some spiciness from somewhere. More bitter than most tripels, I don't mind a little adventurousness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is pure sugar, yeast, honey. Medium body, honey, yeast, pure sugar, light spice finish, very good.
