A Totally Nebular IPA. Great Western premium two-row, combined with c-15 and Dextri-Pils, give this beer a bright and galactic Milky Way hue. The hopping is pure starglow energy, with Chinook to bitter and late and dry additions of Citra and Amarillo.

12oz bottle picked up s Brewers Haven; glad to see this in small bottles. Coloration is spot on, a bright orange topped with a mountain of stocky white head. Tons of lacing down the glass. Lively nose is full of citrus and tropical fruit. Same in the taste... Its packed with hippy goodness and fruits. Grapefruit... Mango... Very light floral presence. Nice level of bitters. I could easily handle a 22oz bottle, but with this in small bottles I’ll definitely be picking it up again soon.

22oz bottle from Rodman’s in DC pours a lightly hazy orange with some frothy, lacing white head. Nose has a nice mix of tropical fruit sweetness, pineapple, mango, some guava, a little lime, grapefruit, soap. Flavor follows right along, guava, pine, a little asian pear, lime, mild candy, mango, a little grapefruit, some soap. Finishes lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Nice.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a golden amber topped with a small head. Nose is pine resin citrus caramel sweetness and some floral notes. Taste is as the nose with a great hop combo and a good bread malt on it. Have had this from the bottle aswell. On tap was very nice.

Nice slightly hazy copper coloured body with a hint of a golden hue and a nice, single centimetre tall tan head - this is a nice looking IPA. Aroma of grapefruit, tropical fruits, resin, light malt, alcohol and some dank hops - very nice and pungent throughout. Medium-bodied; Assertive fresh hop flavours of passionfruit, kiwi, resin, grapefruit and more tropical fruits - very nice and fresh with a solid flavour and no harsh bitterness. Aftertaste shows a well-rounded flavour with a lot going for it - nice body with not too much earthiness, some light sweetness of caster sugar, but this one is all about the tropical fruit and very flavourful hops - all with a great touch. Overall, a very nice IPA, perhaps one of the best I’ve had recently, all with a great balance throughout. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington, DC (P Street, Logan Circle) on 02-October-2014 for US$6,99 sampled at home in Washington on 04-November-2014.

On tap at Dig Bar. It pours a clear orange-gold with s big fruity hop bouquet. The taste is a tongue scraping bitterness that veers nicely between pine & fruit notes with a solid malty undertone. Probably the most hop forward of their beers I have tried so far. Hop heads rejoice!

Hazy amber. Floral, fruity nose. Lots of bitterness, with slightly overripe fruity notes. Not as bright as some of the other recent Elysin IPAs but decent.
