Tastes like a mashed up barley swig. Copper pour. Very substandard in my opinion. Rated 4/19/10

Location: 12 oz bottle from New Beer, 1/15/10

Aroma: This has lots of fresh juicy hops, some peach, pine, and grapefruit. As it warms, the nose looses some of the juicy hops and becomes a bit herbal.
Appearance: Hazy orange-amber color with a fluffy white head, lots of white lace
Flavor: Mild fruity sweetness gives some balance to the big, bitter hop flavor
Palate: Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and relatively soft carbonation
Overall Impression: This is my first beer from Ithaca Brewing. This is a pretty nice IPA, has that juicy, peachy feel up-front, and a good balance to it. I like this beer, a really solid IPA. Very drinkable and enjoyable. The nose gets higher scores at first, not quite as nice as it warms, but I'll keep it here. Just a bit off in the aftertaste as well, I wavered quite a bit on the scores on this one, but settled here.

Bottle. Pours a golden orange with a frothy head and wonderful aromas of pine and citrus. I have absolutely no idea how this is rated this low... did they change recipes? Anyhow, first sip reveals a wonderfully balanced IPA with a heavy pine and grapefruit hops side to it. There is definitely enough malt to balance things out well and this is an instant favorite in the IPA category.

Pours clear amber into a shaker. White conglomerate head with excellent retention leaves slight sheets as it slowly recedes. Pine and weed aromas. Sweet malt upfront turning quickly to a bitter, astringent weed resin finish.

12 ounce bottled shared by Alraomon. Thanks Sean! Pours a clear copper color with a short lasting white frothy head. Very fruity aroma with notes of green apple, citrus and cotton candy. Taste is bitter hops with some citrus notes. Nice balance. Slightly sticky texture. Medium bodied. Very nice IPA.

I am surprised at all the low scores for this one. I had not been impressed with this brewer before trying this one. Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a bright copper color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was strong sweet piney and floral hops. The flavor was strong sweet and thick with robust fruity, piney and floral hops. The hops linger on the long sweet finish. definitely my kind of IPA. Very hoppy but not harsh at all. The hops blended exceptionally well in this one.
