Cask at the brewery , side by side with the regular version . Pours clear blonde , good white head ( on cask ? ) Taste is very hoppy, lactic , in a way . Thick mouthfeel ( no carbo ) . Would prefer it carbonated , but its a nice beer as it is . Earlier Rating: 2/2/2015 Total Score: 3.7Tap at the brewery . Pours rather clear blonde , small white head . Smell is pine , hops, fruity . Taste is bitter, fruity . Reminds me a lot to Nelson hops , even though they are not in here ...

Draft at Brouwerij Lane - Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Pours clear cold with a fine, frothy white cap. Exceptional IPA. Nice and resinous with lots of rich citrus fruits. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Good dank hop finish, balancing pale and lightly bread malts, further citrus character. Solid.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is citrus, floral, and pale maltiness. Taste is pretty flavorful. It ain’t too bitter, but the hops are nice and flavorful. Well-balanced. Not too crazy. Pleasant.

Location: Draft at Ginger Man, 4/12/13
Aroma: It has a nice, clean hop nose to it, with plenty of tropical/citrus fruits and some some malts
Appearance: Clear orange with a thick froth of lasting white head (the kind that gives ya a stache)
Flavor: This one has plenty of hop flavors, similar to the nose, fruity, a bit sweet, and plenty bitter
Palate: Excellent mouthfeel, smooth and clean, super drinkable, and has a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this was a really effective example of an IPA. Dead on for the style, I really found nothing not to like about this beer. Really well done.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a large frothy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of herbal, citrus hops and melon. The taste is bitter citrus and melon. Strong lingering bitterness, medium bodied. Interesting.
