On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with medium frothy beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast coffee and dark chocolate. Thin body, roast, cocoa, bitter finish, very good.

Glass at the brewery - dark ruby with a soapy lace - nose is hazelnut and coffee - creamy texture - flavors of toffee, coffee, nuts - medium sweet, with some earthy and complex malt character, perhaps some mushroomy English ale yeast? - decent.

On tap at Vine Street Pub. Big coffee and caramel aroma. Clean malty sweet coffee flavor, well done.
