Keg at BD Sheps Muff, 21/03/16. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a well appointed tan swirl. Nose is sweet malt, toffee melt, booze fumeage, light puke, molasses. Taste comprises burnt toffee, chocolate syrup, liquid fruit cake, light roast, tar. Full bodied, smooth on the palate, warming alcohol in the close. Boosty impy fuel ... A touch harsh in places but fine. Middle of the class.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate on the nose. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, dark fruit. Really quite thin for the strength but still decent enough.

Keg at Brewdog Shepโs Bush. Thanks to the wingman for this one. Dark brown, chestnut coloured pour , viscous with no head. Aroma is earthy chocolate roast, nutty, solvent, hot alcohol, some figgy pudding, jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of medium sweet brown malts, earthy chocolate, jammy plum, figs. Palate is medium sweet, medium full bodied, viscous, little sticky. A little disappointing.

Keg a BDSB - London. Pours deep brown with a creamy, light tan head. The nose has moderate roast, sugary chocolate, dark fruits. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with rich bready malts, toffee, chocolate, light alcohol and earth. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Finishes with a little boozy warmth, more sugary chocolate, mellow bitterness, gooey toffee, dark fruits. A nice impy stout.
