A pint bought for me by my son at the brewery on a pleasant October afternoon. Kolsches are nice in their particular way, not inspirational. A yellow-gold body with little to no head. I taste sharp lemon, straw, crackers and grass. Decent.

Tap at brewery. Clear golden color, small white head and lace. Strong blackcurrant bush aroma with hints of catpiss. Light-bodied. Citrus, gooseberry flavor. Pale malty. Not much about kölsch here. Ok.

Keg at Flying Saucer. It pours lightly hazy amber with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, green, grassy, dank, bready, spring onion, pine needles and some nectarine. The taste is crisp, dry, fresh, bitter, pine needles, green, grassy, dank, pepper and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Danky kolsch. Bonkers and delicious!

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with medium frothy white head. The aroma is citrus, dank, resin. Medium body, juicy, dank, resin finish, very nice.
