Bottle at ZBF 2009. Banana-juice coloured brew with an very present banana sweet taste.

Pale jellow color, cloudy. Banana, lemon and grape sugar in the aroma. Very sweet and sugary with (artificial ?) banana. Yeasty aftertaste. Why this brew if you can brew a really good beer like De Ryck Special?

Gusjebrun uklar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter overmodne bananer. Smaker svært søtt, sukker og bananer. Stikky. veldig søt avslutning som varer alt for lenge

11/12/2014 33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Edelare @ home. Colour is hazy lemon colour, banana juice like. Aroma sweet banana all over, some yeast. Taste is same again sweet banana some yeast notes. Not a lot of beer to taste, To sweet but it is what I would expect from a banana (beer).

Bardzo słaba piana, momentalnie znika, kolor przyppmina mus bananowy, a nawet jabłkowy.
Zapach tego trunku słodki, bananowy lecz nie intensywny, nie przepadam za takim zapachem ponieważ wydaje się być syntetyczny.
Jeśli chodzi o smak to oczywiście bananowy i podobnie jak zapach odnosi się wrażenie że syntetyczny, słodkie, a nawet bardzo słodkie, musujące i treściwe. Minimalna goryczka.

Banana beer with a misty, straw yellow colour with somewhat greenish hue. Aroma and taste completely dominated by artificial banana and loads of sugar, thin mouthfeel, bit chemical, cloying finish. I honestly feel sorry for Ann De Ryck, don’t know what became her when she thought of this. To be avoided at all time.

This beer has got a pretty low rating , I wonder why ??? Bottle at kulminator . Looks like barf . Yeastshot , one might say , but it is the whole bottle that pours creamy, brown-blonde-white-orange . No real head, making the barf-lookalike extremely realistic . Smell is sour-sweet banana-extract . Sweaty feet, rotten aspects . Taste is straight sugar, than overpowering chemical banana-extracts , to fade over into a pure sugary-back . Aftertaste is pure sugar, in the worst way imaginable . Probably not a beer to recomend to anyone you want to stay alive ....

330ml bottle. Pours hazy lemon with no head. Like infected piss. Aroma is coriander and banana foam sweets. Taste is sweet banana sweets to start with an artificial banana and wheat finish.

33cl. The beer in the glass looks like watery banana-juice. It smells like artificial jelly-bananas I ate as a child. The beer starts artificial-ok, but then turns immediately to an awful artificial lemonade-taste, that has nothing to do with banana. I never had a beer as awful as this. it is really undrinkable - even if I want to it is not possible... --> never again!!! 0/4/0/0
