Draft pour pint at Josh's Taps. Dark and dense near black appearance, espresso brown active foam head. Gotta think this isn't my first time trying this excellent stout, but instead of digging in the logs, I'll throw some quick notes in. Bold and bitter stout. Has some subtle coffee, tons of toast. Robust up front, but has a lighter feel in the end. Slightest hint if cinnamon like here on the late linger. Smooth, toasty, delicious. It's so good to see these guys can execute all the styles across the board.

On tap at Stoup, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, a little wood, and a touch of hops. Flavour is woody and roasty, with lots of roasted malt, wood, and moderate hops. Roasty, woody finish. Excellent.

Can. Pours a dark brown hue with a medium to large tan head. A big sweet chocolate and vanilla nose. Rich, sweeter side of things, balanced out by some big roast. Vanilla, light coffee, chocolate.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, cracker, nuts. Medium body, cocoa, roast, cracker malt, light dry finish, very good.

Draught at the brewery, 11/7/15.
Milk chocolate to ebony body is of undetermined clarity, but assumedly bright, with a light tan head atop that shows moderate retention.
Baker’s chocolate, light fudge, a touch of banana-tinted vanilla and moderate fruitiness (plums, raisins and prunes). No alcohol noted in the nose, nor flaws.
Chewy yet dry with moderate carbonation and plentiful baker’s chocolate notes. Great attenuation, yet still with some residual sweetness to balance the not-overbearing roastiness. Light prune and plum suggestions, with vanilla and fudge chewiness on the finish. Really nice stuff, on the dry side but still has plenty of body. Good complexity, not overdone on any one aspect.
