Canned in Htown. Brown pour, nice hint of malts, pretty clean finish. A very nice dunkel IMO.

On tap at Hughies. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, bread, faint roast. Medium body, cocoa, earth malt, very light, good.

12 oz can purchased as a singe at D&Q - The Beer Station in Houston, Texas. Crafted on 093015. The pour is a clear brown copper with a tan well formed head. The aroma is toasty roast, sweet caramel malt. The taste is the caramel nutty malt, toasty less roast than the nose, and a clean finish. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and and a clean slightly sweet finish. Nice full flavor as it warms.

Sample at Beerfoot. Reddish-brown color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and hops. Light to medium body with flavors of bready malt, chocolate and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Spec’s, Houston can: Pours brownish body with a tan head. Aroma is a hint of chocolate, caramel malt, and some toffee. Taste is somewhat sweet, but in a nice refreshing way. Hints of chocolate, bread, toffee, and of course plenty of caramel. Tasty and sessionable.

Location: Draft at Adair Kitchen, 11/4/13

Aroma: The aroma is roasty and fairly sweet, nuts, some chocolate, and caramel
Appearance: This one pours a dark brown color with a nice, large, light brown head
Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines, with mostly sweet and roasted malt flavors
Palate: The body is medium, it has a soft-to-average carbonation, and a fairly clean finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a solid example of the style. This beer won’t blow anyone away, but I found it to be plenty drinkable.
