Draft pour enjoyed at Rip Current, San Diego. Enjoyed side by side with the hazy version. Very clean, bright, shiny golden pour. Quick fading head. Hot in the IPA category. Bold bitterness. Sharp taste. Earthy malt and hop linger, and a heavy finish. Boozy for an IPA. Hot finish. Not bad, but a bit harsh.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours bright gold with a creamy white head. Intense dank hop aroma, plenty of pine and ripe tangerine, also some melon, day-old urine, grapefruit. Medium to big sweet flavor with spicy pine, rich and ripe orange, melon, bread, mango. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Big resinous finish, pretty warm, with loads of dank hops, pine, papaya, grapefruit, orange, tangerine. Really bold and punchy. But it is still really drinkable and does achieve a sort of balance. Excellent.

On tap at Hamilton's, pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour of piney and resinous hops, light caramel and bready malt. Solid IIPA here with everything in balanced. Semi-sweet but quite hoppy. Delicious stuff.
