On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Medium body, pine, dank, juicy, light resin finish, very good.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear light golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has some toffee, cookie, peach and flowers. The flavor is dense with sweet maltiness, resin and pine. Heavy bitterness. There’s some background notes of toffee, peach and melon. Flowery. Full bodied and oily on the palate. A real bruiser. Not really the kind of IPA I’m looking for these days.

[2/21/15] Draught at Rip Current North Park in San Diego. Clear gold. “Green” hops aroma, a bit oniony, with some fruitiness. Flavor has some sweetness and “green” hops, a bit fruity. Medium-bodied.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours bright gold with a creamy white head. Lots of dank citrus in the nose, grapefruit, a bit of urine. Medium to big sweet flavor with lots more dank, well ripened citrus fruits, mango, grapefruit, papaya, pee, orange. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming and resinous to finish with lasting dank hop character. Punchy but I do like it.

On tap a O'Brien's, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of piney and resinous hops, and some caramely biscuity malts. Flavour brings piney and resinous hops, and dry caramely biscuity malt. Very potent and full-flavoured. Well-balanced and drinkable. Excellent stuff.
