A once lost German style Wheat Beer from Lichtenstein, sour mashed for a bright tartness. Our Gose uses 100% European Barley, Organic California Grapefruit, Organic Coriander from Egypt and Pink Himalayan Sea Salt from Salt Farms here in San Diego.

Pale, just a slight haze. Thin head. Slightly saline aroma is a bit simple. More complex on the palate - wheat, grapefruit, coriander. Moderate acidity. All the elements come together well.

On tap at Pure Project, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals a nice mix of grapefruit pith, sea salt, and lacto. Flavour is bright, with lots of pithy grapefruit, lacto, and salt. Citric, ascorbic and salty finish. Excellent.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a closer gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of lemon with grapefruit and a bit of wheat underlying. Flavor is lemon forward with sweet wheat and bit of grapefruit coming through.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is salt, wheat, lemon zest. Thin body, similar flavors to nose, strong salt in the finish and tart, good.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma is lightly salty and lemony with some mineral water. The flavor is lightly tart with some wheat and lemon. Nice creamy wheat malt backbone. Salty finish. Really clean and refreshing.
