A south German style of wheat beer (weissbier) made with a typical ratio of 50:50, or even higher, wheat. The "Hefe" prefix means "with yeast", hence the beers unfiltered and cloudy appearance.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is yeast, spice, banana. Thin body, light banana, citrus, light dry finish, decent.

On tap at the brewery during RBWG 2013. A simplistic hefeweizen. Plenty of wheaty dough here, some estery banana notes, cloves. Lightly sweet. Light bodied with average carbonation. There’s a decent bit of dryness that keeps the beer pretty clean. Lingering wheat and banana. OK.
