Taste is smooth, slightly watery with some roastiness, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and hints of nutty notes. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and watery with hints of hops, coffee and vanilla. Quite smooth, but could?ve used a bit more body. --- Beer merged from original tick of Book of Records (Hazelnut Vanilla) on 18 Jan 2017 at 18:30 - Score: 7

Can 330ml (Beergium)
Opaque black color, small steady beige head. Coffeish toasted aroma with hints of vanilla and hazelnut. Medium-bodied. Coffeish, toasted, hoppy, lingering bittrness in the aftertaste. Vanilla and hazelnut are not so dominant in the flavor. More like hoppy coffee stout. Nice clean palate.

33cl can at home. Clear, very dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of roasted malts, dark cherries, smoke, dark chocolate and just a hint of vanilla and hazelnut, both of these flavors feeling a bit artificial. Luckily, they are quite subtle, because otherwise this is a well-made roast-forward stout. Surprisingly good for its ABV.
